Adam Binnie is an American businessman and works for the private investment firm, Carlisle Capital Corporation of Boston, MA.

Adam was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 17th 1991. He is the son of Scottish and American businessman] and race car driver William Harrison Binnie and Nina Binnie.[1]

Early Life

Adam has two younger brothers, Colin and Dylan Binnie, and an older sister, Heather Binnie. Adam grew up along the coast of New Hampshire, but the Binnie family moved to the South of France for 3 years during Adam's elementary school years.

Living in St Jean Cap Ferrat, Adam attended the local public school as well as the International School of Monaco. While living in France, Adam became a passionate Football fan and a player for the AS Monaco FC Youth Academy. After living in the South of France, Adam and his family returned to New England.

Education

Adam attended the The Governor's Academy where he excelled on the soccer and lacrosse teams garnering him captain of the soccer team in his senior year. He would go on to attend Bates College in Lewiston Maine after graduating from Governor's Academy. At Bates, Adam majored in economics with a minor in religious studies. He was a 4-year contributor on the Bates Bobcats College Men's Lacrosse team which plays in the Division III New England Small College Athletic Conference.[2]

Career

After graduating from Bates, Adam joined Carlisle Capital, a private investment firm headquartered in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and has been promoted to manager in their Boston office. Carlisle Capital was incorporated in 1984 and has a successful history of acquiring, managing, and owning assets.

Carlisle has done billions of dollars worth of transactions in media, real estate and private equity and believes in creating shareholder value by building great management teams and targeting excellent businesses.

Since the time Adam worked at Carlisle, he has been involved in completing several key transactions across a variety of different industries including media, technology, hospitality, and real estate.[3] [4] [5] [6]

Within a short period of time, Adam rose within the real estate division. He has played a pivotal role in executing transactions with Fortune 500 companies.
