Achai Wiir

Achai Wiir (born 1992) is a South Sudanese Businesswoman and Philanthropist. She is also the founder of Achai Wiir Foundation, an organization working on helping the needy in South Sudan.[1]

Contribution

In January 2022, Achai Wiir contributed to supporting orphans in South Sudan through the distribution of food and non-food items.[2]

Achai has also helped in bailing out inmates across the country with minor crimes but were unable to bail themselves on their own. In July 2021, Achai Wiir Foundation and the South Sudan Islamic Council cleared debts of about eight inmates and secured their release from jail.[3]

Ms Wiir in gifted Ugandan renowned singer Jose Chameleon with a brand new Toyota Landcruiser V8 after the East African artist composed a song titled "Achai Wiir".[4]

Philanthropist Achai has also awarded a number of South Sudanese for promoting unity among South Sudanese within and outside the country [5]
