Abubakar Danladi Umar (Barde) (born 7th July 1982) is a Nigerian politician, businessman/ entrepreneur and a youth advocate. He is part of the team that set up Buhari New Media Center establish to serve the office of President Muhammadu Buhari it was commissioned by the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo.[1] He is the cofounder of Eazifuel Technology Limited and Arewa Technology Hub.[2][3]

Early Life and Education

He was born and raised in the old Gongola State and present day Taraba State where he spent most of his early years and he hails from Donga, Nigeria Local government area in Taraba State North East (Nigeria). He attended Federal Government college Wukari and graduated in 1999. He then proceeded to the prestigious Bayero University Kano, Kano (city) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 2008. He proceeding with a Postgraduate diploma in Mass communication (PGDMC)[4] in 2013 before proceeding to Nasarawa State University in Keffi where he received a master's degree in Security and Strategic Studies 2021.

Politics and Political History

In 2018, Abubakar contested for the president National Youth Council of Nigeria but the election did not hold. He also contested for the position of National Youth Leader under the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC). He is working closely with Barrister Ismaeel Buba Ahmed under the National Social Investment Program NSIP.

In 2022 he contested for, and won the primary election to represent Donga, Nigeria, Takum, Wukari and Ussa Federal Constituencies, Taraba State[5] at the House of Representatives (Nigeria) under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
