Abhijit Maity is an Indian poet and academic. He teaches English at Mahishadal Girls' College, Vidyasagar University[1].[2] He is the author of a poetry collection The Cry of Joy (2022)[3]

Works

Maity's works include critical writing, poetry, and book reviews. In 2020, when the UGC (University Grants Commission) formed the CARE Committee and made a list of (newly) approved journals, Maity found that the CARE-List include many Indian journals which had neither any ISSN nor proper editorial information. He mentioned 34 journals (many of which were later removed from the CARE-List) that did not have any online or print ISSN[4].
