Abdul Razzak Abdul Wahid (عبد الرزاق عبد الواحد, July 1, 1930 – November 8, 2015) was an Iraqi poet born in Baghdad. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Maysan Province in southern Iraq, where he spent his childhood. He was known as the Poet of the Gulf War, the Poet of Qadisiyyah, the Poet of Two Centuries, and the Last Al-Mutanabbi.[1]

He graduated from the Higher Teachers' House (currently the College of Education) in 1952 and worked as an Arabic teacher in secondary schools. His wife was a doctor, and he had one daughter and three sons. He participated in most sessions of the Iraqi Al-Mirbad Poetry Festival. He passed away on the morning of November 8, 2015, at the age of 85 in Paris, the French capital.[2]
