Abdul Razaq Sabir (Balochi: پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبد الرزاق صابر; Urdu: پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبد الرزاق صابر); 14 August 1954) is a Pakistani author, poet, writer, and researcher from Balochistan. He is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University. He has been awarded the medal of “Imtiaz” for his outstanding services in the field of education.

Early Life and Education

Abdul Razaq Sabir was born on 14 August 1954 in Kirdgap, Kalat, Balochistan. He obtained his Ph.D. in Comparative Linguistics from the University of Balochistan (UoB). Prior to this, he earned a diploma in Dravidian Studies from Kerala University and another diploma in Arabic Language from the University of Jordan-Amman.

He later served for approximately four years in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. During his time in Jordan, he held the Chair in Urdu and Pakistan Studies and also served as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Asian Languages at the University of Jordan Amman.[1]
