Abdul Hakeem Faizy (Malayalam: അബ്ദുൽ ഹക്കീം ഫൈസി ആദൃശ്ശേരി Arabic: عبد الحكيم الفيضي), is an educationalist and reformist Islamic Scholar who pioneered the concept of woman-only Islamic seminaries and introduced an inclusive curriculum combining advanced Islamic studies and secular education, in Kerala, India.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] He is the architect of two integrated courses known as Wafy and Wafiyya which are currently being taught in over 90 Islamic colleges affiliated with the Coordination of Islamic Colleges (C.I.C.), of which he is a co-founder and the General Secretary. [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] He is the first executive board member from India at the Cairo-based League of Islamic Universities. [12] He is also a representative from India at the Secretariat of the World Muslim Communities Council headquartered in Abu Dhabi.[13]
