Abanoub Riad (born 24 January 1994) is an Egyptian Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia. He is known for his extensive contributions to the fields of public health, vaccine hesitancy, and COVID-19. Riad has served in various editorial roles and has received multiple awards for his academic achievements. He has also been actively involved in dental student organisations at local, national, and international levels, particularly in the realm of dental education.

Early life and education

Abanoub Riad was born on 25 January 1994. He received his Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery from Tanta University and later completed his PhD in Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology from Masaryk University.[1]

Career

Riad is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University.[2] His previous roles include Instructor at Masaryk University, Epidemiologist at the Institute of Health Information and Statistics (ÚZIS), and Research Fellow at Cochrane.[3]
