Aaron Curtis Neeb (Born on October 28, 1988) is locally known for directing the Huron Honour Band, a community youth band started in 2022 as a way to give local students (12-18) a way to learn music.[1] The band performs at many local events and supports many charity organizations. He also teaches music at Central Huron Secondary School.
Neeb is active in community initiatives and cultural organizations. He has appeared in South Huron municipal conflict-of-interest records, showing he is an employee of the Avon Maitland District School Board and has served on local committees.[2]
He has been chair of the Cultural Collective, a partner organization with the South Huron Arts Centre.
Neeb has also been involved in local politics; he's been profiled as a councilor for Ward 2 in the Municipality of South Huron, focusing on infrastructure, affordable housing, and community services.[3]
In 2021, as a councilor, he made recommendations to keep the Stephen Arena (in Huron Park, Ontario) open and supported funding for it's maintenance.[4]
