Aaron Burdett is an Americana folk singer-songwriter and performer from Western North Carolina. He was named one of the Top 10 most important musicians of western North Carolina by WNCW Magazine in 2017.[1]

Achievements

In October of 2012, Burdett’s song “Going Home to Carolina” won Our State Magazine’s "Carolina Songs songwriting contest". [2]

In 2019 Burdett took first place in the folk category of the USA Songwriting Competition with his song “A Couple Broken Windows” from his album, Refuge, released by Organic Records. [3]

Most recently, his song Rockefeller is one of three finalists in the bluegrass category In the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest for 2020 (postponed until 2021).[4]

Rockefeller has been on the Grassicana music Charts for 5 consecutive weeks topping at #9 on September 4, 2020.
