Aamir Hafeez Ibrahim is a Pakistani business executive and the CEO.[1] of Jazz, Pakistan's largest[2] mobile network and internet services provider, as well as the Chairman[3] of Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL)[4] With a career spanning over 30 years[5], Aamir has worked in diverse[6] sectors including automotive, telecom, and digital financial services.
Under his leadership since July 2016[7], Jazz is the leading 4G operator in Pakistan[8], with over 71 million subscribers[9] and investments, including Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), exceeding USD 10.7 billion[10].
Aamir is also a member[11] of the Advisory Committee on IT & Telecom, member[12] of the Prime Ministers Cashless Economy Committee and the Federal Bureau of Revenue Digitalization Committee. He is also a member[13] of the Advisory Council for the Women in the Digital Economy Fund (WiDEF) and has contributed to establishing Pakistan's first 5G Innovation Lab[14] at the National University of Science & Technology (NUST) in Islamabad. For his contributions to Pakistan's digital landscape, he has been awarded[15] the Hilal-e-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan.
