Aakli is a small village of 2795 hectares in Gudha Malani Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Aakli depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Aakli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Aakli's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02092500. The area of Aakli is segregated as 1788 hectares unirrigated, the 766.73 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 240 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
