AJ Tutoring is an American based company that offers in-person, small group, and online tutoring for academic enrichment, ACT and SAT standardized test preparation, college admission counseling, college essay coaching, and grad school test preparation.
History
AJ Tutoring was established in 2005 by life-long friends Aaron Andrikopoulos and Joe Niederman, who first met at a Palo Alto elementary school. Shortly after college, driven by their shared passion for education, they began their careers as private SAT tutors in 2003. By 2005, the increasing demand for their personalized 1-on-1 tutoring approach led to the formal establishment of AJ Tutoring. The company started with standardized test prep services in 2003, and later integrated academic tutoring into their services by 2010. AJ Tutoring also began diversifying its services to accommodate the evolving needs of Bay Area families. By 2022, the company added college counseling and application support.
AJ Tutoring is headquartered in Menlo Park, California. Other locations include Danville, Lafayette, Burlingame, San Mateo, San Carlos, Woodside, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View, Saratoga, Los Gatos, and San Jose.
