A. D. Scammell (? - June 4, 1937) was an organist, composer, and instructor.[1] He had compositions published in The Etude. He lived in Spokane, Washington and travelled with his wife. (earlier from Bellevue Ohio?) They performes together, he as accompanist.[2] He sang in a choir.[3] He wrote a song about Spokane's Natatorium Park. Moved to San Diego? [4] In later life he lived in Malverne.[1]

He wrote Musical Rhythms for Piano?[5]

Organist Jesse Crawford, an orphan who performed in Spokane, was one of his students.[1]
