5 MNWM is a small village of 363 hectares in Suratgarh Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. 5 MNWM depends on SURATGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. 5 MNWM is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. 5 MNWM's pin code is 335705[4], and village code is 00257000. The area of 5 MNWM is segregated as 204 hectares irrigated area, 98 hectares unirrigated, the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SURATGARH and Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
