Šimon Drgáč

Šimon Drgáč (1892-1980) was a member of the Czechoslovak Legion in Italy during World War I, Army General, military attaché in Paris in 1929-1931, Political prisoner of Nazism Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia from 1939 to 1945 (in Pankrác Prison, Dachau concentration camp, Buchenwald concentration camp, Small Fortress (Terezín), Flossenbürg concentration camp), from 1948 to 1951 Chief of the General Staff (Czechoslovakia) armed forces. Imprisoned from 1952 until 1958 by Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. [1][2][3]
