Elizabeth Rose Sommers (October 10, 1983) is an American cosmetic nurse, medical aesthetic injector, trainer, and social media influencer with over 20 years of experience.[1][2][3] Sommers is a certified aesthetic registered nurse at Skin365 and is an injectable medicine trainer with Allergan and Galderma.[4]
Sommers is an expert at non-surgical treatments, including dermal fillers, Botox, microneedling, RHA, and Juvederm, among several others. She is best known for practicing minimally invasive treatments and operates a highly regarded Instagram blog titled "Everything Beauty."[5][6]
Sommers was voted one of the top 100 Best Aesthetic Injectors in America for three consecutive years.[7] She stands among the top 1% of injectors in the USA and has been featured in the media industry for her skincare and celebrity treatment expertise. Her contributions have been recognized in various media outlets, including Influencive, LA Progressive, Net News Ledger, The NYC Times, Haute Living, V Magazine, Top Hustler, and Social Insider.[8][9]
Early life and education
Sommers was born as the eldest of three children to Jessica and John Moberg. She was raised in a small town in New Mexico, where she demonstrated scholarly aptitude. During her younger years, Sommers engaged in various activities such as ballet, gymnastics, and tap dancing. In her teenage years, she developed a passion for skating and participated in the international event Skate Love Barcelona, known for its emphasis on outdoor dance and beach skating.[10]
In her youth, Sommers was fascinated by science and beauty and aspired to contribute to others' well-being. At 15, during her visits to the hospital, while her mother was expecting her younger brother, she decided to pursue a career in nursing.
After completing high school in 2002, she earned an associate degree in nursing. She furthered her education at Western Governors University, specializing in nursing and obtaining a bachelor's in science. Additionally, Sommers holds a Nurse Practitioner degree and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.[11][12]
Sommers decided to pursue nursing when she was 15 years old and her mother was pregnant with her brother and had several complications.[13][14]
Career
Sommers is proficient in various cosmetic procedures, including popular injections such as Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau. Notably, she is an expert in advanced fillers like Restylane, RHA, and Sculptra. Her refined microneedling techniques demonstrate surgical precision, addressing wrinkles, pigmentation, melasma, loose skin, and pore size. In addition, Sommers incorporates comprehensive treatment options, utilizing LaseMd, C02 Dot Laser, and IPL to ensure a diverse and thorough approach to aesthetics. Over 17 years of her career in aesthetic medicine, Sommers has established herself as a reputable injector, preferred by celebrities for cosmetic enhancement treatments.[15]
Sommers started her career in 2010 after moving to California and joining Shaft Medical in San Diego. After working for two years at this institution, Sommers became an aesthetic registered nurse at All About Me Medical Spa. She worked for over two years here and then joined Dermfix Medspa as a Certified Aesthetic Registered Nurse, where she worked for almost four years. Sommers became a trainer for Bellafil in 2014.[16]
In 2015, Sommers joined Skin 365 as a board member, where she continues to contribute significantly. In 2019, she launched a specialized training course in collaboration with Skin365, providing tailored sessions for medical professionals. Her ongoing efforts with Skin365 include a focus on introducing a systematic module for online classes.[17]
In 2017, Sommers expanded her career and became an injectable medicine trainer for Allergan. In 2018, she became a trainer for Galderma.[18]
In 2020, Sommers was recognized as one of the select practitioners licensed to utilize the newly FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler brand Revance, specifically for their RHA filler products.
In addition to her work in aesthetic procedures, she has worked in the psychiatric unit for a year.[19]
Personal life
Sommers currently lives in South Bay, Los Angeles County in California.[20] She has two dogs, named Lady (Dachshund) and Bella (Mini Aussie Shepherd).
Sommers is an avid dance roller skater. She is passionate about traveling and trying new things. She has been to the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, Spain, France, Amsterdam, and the Philippines, till now. Sommers is presently trying to learn ballroom dancing and salsa. In her free time, Sommers likes to indulge in artistic activities such as painting.[21]
