David Shteif (born June 26, 1971) is an American entrepreneur, digital marketing expert and innovator. He is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and sold more than half-dozen companies including Revenue Enhancement Group, MediaTrust, Direct Media Buyers (DM Buyers) and others. Shteif has a background in media buying and emerging media technology solutions. During his career, he held the positions of chief executive officer (CEO), president and managing partner. Shteif is considered one of the best-known entrepreneurs in Florida, who entered digital marketing in 1999 and pioneered media buying and email list building. As of 2013, he serves as the managing director of Digital Media Solutions, a digital media company.[1][2]
Shteif developed an interest in business at an early age, he founded a TV production company and later founded a conventional advertising agency. In 1999, he realized the potential of digital marketing, and he co-founded the Direct Media Buyers to buy digital media spaces and build email lists. After selling Direct Media Buyers, he co-founded MediaTrust and under his leadership the company grew over 900% in two years. Since then, he has been considered as a digital marketing pioneer in the country by the high-tier media outlets.[3][4]
Following his success, he started Revenue Enhancement Group, which enables companies to uncover hidden revenues by monetizing their data. During his career, he built a list of prolific clientele, including Home Depot, Pfizer, Travelocity, Warner Brothers, Disney, Old Navy, and several others.[5]
Early life and education
Shteif was born in South Florida. He had entrepreneur inclinations from a young age. Shteif completed his education from Florida Atlantic University.
Career
Shteif first founded a TV production company for producing spots for Carnival, Chevron, Ericsson Cellular and Delta. He later founded a conventional advertising agency that specializes in print, billboard, radio, direct mail, and television campaigns for clients. In 1999, he realized the potential of digital marketing, and co-founded Direct Media Buyers, a company that works on online media buying, email list building and data monetization. Its client list included Home Depot, Old Navy, Circuit City, Warner Brothers, Pfizer, Disney, AOL, Travelocity and Royal Caribbean.[6]
After selling Direct Media Buyers, he joined MediaTrust as a Partner. Under his leadership, the company grew over 900% in two years. Following his success, he started Revenue Enhancement Group, which enables companies to uncover hidden revenues by monetizing their data. Shteif is the Managing Partner of Digital Media Solution (DMS), an innovative and performance - oriented brand that offers marketplace solutions to connect customers and advertisers.[7]
He gained recognition as an industry expert in mobile advertising, in app ads, app installs, data monetization, email data, phone data, postal data, lead generation, online marketing and database marketing.[8]
