Rob Nagle (born September 3, 1970) is an American actor,[1] director, teacher,[2][3] and acting coach.
Early life and education
Nagle was born in Eugene, Oregon, then raised in DeKalb, Illinois,[4] and in Williamsburg, Virginia. He graduated from Lafayette High School (Virginia) High School in Williamsburg in 1988,[5] and from Northwestern University in 1992,[6] with a double-major in theatre and philosophy. He has been married since October 7, 1995, to Heather Allyn,[7] who works as a casting director in reality television and has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards and Artios awards.[8]
Career
Nagle is an actor who works in film, television,[9] [10] commercials,[11] and theatre.[12] He is known for his performances in NCIS: Los Angeles,[13] Batwoman (TV series),[14] Dynasty (2017 TV series),[15] Safety (2019 film),[16] To Hell and Gone,[17] Superior Donuts (TV series),[18] Bad Samaritan (film),[19] The Librarians (2014 TV series),[20] Fishing Naked,[21] Grey's Anatomy,[22] Criminal Minds,[23] New Year's Eve (2011 film),[24] Mad Men,[25] Eli Stone,[26] Cold Case,[27] Everwood,[28] Buffy the Vampire Slayer,[29] The Guardian (TV series),[30] and Dawson's Creek.[31]
Nagle has also worked in theatres across the country, including Denver Center for the Performing Arts,[32] The Fountain Theatre,[33] Troubadour Theater Company,[34] Boston Court Pasadena Theatre Company,[35] Pasadena Playhouse,[36] Antaeus Theatre Company,[37] L.A.
