Erik Van Conover (born October 21, 1989) is an American actor, filmmaker, and YouTuber. He is best known for his eponymous YouTube channel, which has garnered over 2.54 million subscribers. Conover's channel features luxury real estate, travel, fitness, and lifestyle content.[2]
Early life and education
Conover was born and raised in Absecon, New Jersey. He spent his youth surfing and working as an ocean lifeguard on the Atlantic City Beach Patrol. He attended Northeastern University on a rowing scholarship, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Career
After graduating from Northeastern University, Conover relocated to New York City and launched his eponymous YouTube channel in 2012.[3] Initially focusing on travel vlogs and lifestyle content, Conover's channel gained popularity for its high-quality videography and storytelling.[4][5]
Conover later expanded his content to include luxury real estate, showcasing top-dollar properties across the United States and offering insights into luxury real estate markets.[6] His real estate ventures grew as he obtained a real-estate license and joined Nest Seekers International in 2020.[7]
With over 2.54 million subscribers on YouTube and 879K followers on Instagram, Conover has amassed a substantial following on social media.[8]
In addition to his YouTube career, Conover pursued acting training, completing a two-year professional conservatory under Terry Knickerbocker in Brooklyn from 2021 to 2023.[9] In March 2024, he starred in Dakota Silvey's play "Flight Risk," marking his debut on the New York City stage.[10]
