Randie Graves, aka Chryst Young, is an American hip-hop recording artist, actor, and TV personality.[1] He was born on May 28, 1985, in Hartford, CT, and moved to Brooklyn, NY, at the age of 4, where he was raised and currently resides.[2] He started his buzz in the entertainment industry in 2011 while filming his popular reality web series “Day in the Lyfe of Chryst” with director Chuck Holliday on Suite929.tv, gaining over 100,000 views independently.[3][4]
He later partnered with manager Sadiki Mcdermott, signing a management deal to 28 Ent., which was responsible for releasing popular record “St. Patrick,” which was played at the premiere of Starz TV Show Power’s season 5 red carpet event by DJ Logo & DJ King Kauso.[5] He is also known for released music singles “Car Service,” “1 Flight,” and “By My Lonely,” all produced by Axtion (in-house producer).[6][7]
Besides music, he also pursued a blossoming acting career and won 1st Place Performance Award with the cast of “The Brotherhood” at the annual “Midtown International Theatre Festival” at John Chatterton Theatre, Times Square Manhattan in 2014. He is known for acting roles of QUAN on TV series The Ave, directed by Bobby Ashley; Erick “E-XL” Turner on Blue City directed by Marcus Reyes; Chase Michaelson on Asunder the Series directed by Landra V. Phillips, and is the current TV show host of The Sneaker Game Season 1, now with over 1.2 Million Streams. All the TV series is now on Amazon Prime Video.[8][9]
He is also known for playing the role of undercover cop “Sebastian Jones” on the popular movie Blood On The Streets 3, which currently has over 5 million views on YouTube. He appeared on NBC’s Law & Order SVU, HBO’s How to Make It in America and Lego’s Superblox Christmas commercial. Now he is currently venturing off to yet another field, by releasing a cologne fragrance: “RUSH” collaboration with Made Lifestyle Collection.
Early life and education
Graves was born on 28 May 1985 in Hartford, CT. His family moved to Brooklyn, NY when he was four years old. He attended a co-educational school, during which he developed a passion for writing and creating hip hop music.
Career
Graves began his career in 2001 when he was in high school. He started with writing songs. In 2009, he appeared on a variety of network television programs, including NBC's Mercy, several episodes of Law & Order, CBS’ CSI: NY and Blue Bloods, Showtime’s Nurse Jackie, and HBO’s How To Make It In America. He has also been featured in Ladies Love Leo Littles, Death Without Life, Playas In The Pew, Betrayed, The Bitten Apple, Youngins, and THE SETUP.
Graves is also the founder of a popular web series called Day In The Lyfe Of Chryst, which covers the daily activities of himself and highlights his life as an artist in America.[10]

Personal life
Graves belongs to a musical bloodline. His grandfather, Gerald Green, was signed to Motown records and sang in the legendary group The Contours.
