Zosim Tumanski and also known as Zosim Sinaita was one of the monks and Sinaites from the second half of the 14th century who came to Medieval Serbia during the time of Lazar of Serbia.

According to tradition, this ascetic monk from the Sinai desert lived alone in a stone cave near today's Tuman monastery. The erection of this monastery, dedicated to Archangel Michael, is related to the name Miloš Obilić, which was ruled by Braničevo District area in the time of Prince Lazar of Serbia. According to legend, Miloš inadvertently shot the hermit Zosimus while hunting. Miloš, so badly wounded, took him to his yard in Dvoriste (Golubac) to help him. Elder Zosim, feeling his end, said to Miloš: "Miss me and let me die there." At the place where the old man died, Miloš buried him and built a church over the grave, that is, a monastery that is still called Tuman Monastery.

The relics of the Venerable Zosimus are in the church of the Tuman Monastery and were discovered on 8 August 1936.
