Zormen is a small village of 726 hectares in Satari Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Zormen depends on VALPOI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Zormen is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Zormen's pin code is 403506[5], and village code is 00013200. The area of Zormen is segregated as 0.27 hectares irrigated area, 206.15 hectares unirrigated, the 1.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 59.36 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Zormen has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Zormen is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 635 and has total administration over 124 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VALPOI and North Goa to sell cashew nuts and make their living.
