William Richard Farrell

William Richard Farrell (December 29, 1882 - August 15, 1951) was an American actor.

Biography

He was born on December 29, 1882 in Syracuse, New York. Richard Farrell attended Central High School in Syracuse, and then attended Syracuse University for 3 years where he was in the college stage productions and was a member of Boar's Head.[1][2]

When he was 20 he moved to New York city where he was an actor in many Broadway plays and movies. He was also a director of entertainment at the original Waldorf–Astoria (1893–1929)|Waldorf Astoria Hotel.[1]

He died on August 15, 1951 in New York, New York.[1]
