Utrethoo is a small village of 421 hectares in Tanda Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Utrethoo depends on Tanda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Utrethoo's pin code is 224195[4], and village code is 06011700. The area of Utrethoo is segregated as , 53.914 hectares unirrigated area. the 2.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 51 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tanda (MB) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
