Tendua is a small village of 772.3 hectares in Belthara Road Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tendua depends on Belthara Road , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tendua's pin code is 221715[4], and village code is 09078500. The area of Tendua is segregated as 722.3 hectares irrigated area, 12 hectares unirrigated area. the 115.57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 8 hectare area not available for cultivation.
