Tekangarha is a small village of 82 hectares in Sagri Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tekangarha depends on Jiyanpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Tekangarha's pin code is 276138[4], and village code is 08646200. The area of Tekangarha is segregated as 72 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.
