Teja Ka Was is a small village of 1180 hectares in Kotra Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Teja Ka Was depends on Pindwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Teja Ka Was is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Teja Ka Was's pin code is 313708[4], and village code is 03088200. The area of Teja Ka Was is segregated as 3.04 hectares irrigated area, 155 hectares unirrigated, the 196 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 782 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pindwara and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
