Talva is a small village of 1730 hectares in Viratnagar Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Talva depends on Viratnagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 92.25% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Talva is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Talva's pin code is 303003[4], and village code is 01468400. The area of Talva is segregated as 92.25 hectares irrigated area, 123.45 hectares unirrigated, the 191.97 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Talva is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1675 and has total administration over 276 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Viratnagar and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
