Tajpur is a small village of 283.6 hectares in Gabhana Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tajpur depends on CHANDOS, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tajpur's pin code is 202132[4], and village code is 01307200. The area of Tajpur is segregated as 77.08 hectares unirrigated area. the 117.32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.
