Sutod is a small village of 1592 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sutod depends on Lachhmangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sutod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sutod's pin code is 332041[4], and village code is 01678100. The area of Sutod is segregated as 281.66 hectares irrigated area, 1132.89 hectares unirrigated, the 52.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 39 hectare area not available for cultivation.
