Sothi is a small village of 382 hectares in Baraut Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sothi depends on Chhaprauli (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sothi's pin code is 250623[4], and village code is 01039900. The area of Sothi is segregated as 392.41 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sothi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sothi is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1626 and has total administration over 239 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chhaprauli (NP) and Bagpat to sell jaggery and make their living.
