Sonra is a small village of 575 hectares in Kheragarh Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sonra depends on sheya, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sonra's pin code is 283119[4], and village code is 01614900. The area of Sonra is segregated as 494.9 hectares irrigated area, 35.15 hectares unirrigated, the 24.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21 hectare area not available for cultivation.
