Sogpura is a small village of 382 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sogpura depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Sogpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sogpura's pin code is 327606[4], and village code is 03469100. The area of Sogpura is segregated as 172.38 hectares irrigated area, 38.3 hectares unirrigated, the 67.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 54.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sogpura is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1833 and has total administration over 400 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
