Shopura is a small village of 213 hectares in Vallabhnagar Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shopura depends on Bhinder, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 39.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shopura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shopura's pin code is 313601[4], and village code is 03172900. The area of Shopura is segregated as 41 hectares irrigated area, 117 hectares unirrigated, the 35.84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19 hectare area not available for cultivation.
