Shahpur is a small village of 23.68 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shahpur depends on Baberu (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shahpur's pin code is 210121[4], and village code is 04802600. The area of Shahpur is segregated as 53 hectares irrigated area.

Shahpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
