Serge B. Provost

Serge B. Provost obtained a doctoral degree in Mathematics and Statistics from McGill University. He became an Associate of the Society of Actuaries in 1980. Associate of the Society of Actuaries. He is a full professor at the University of Western Ontario in the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences [1]. His research interests include multivariate analysis, computational statistics, data analytics and distribution theory, with applications involving problems arising in various areas of scientific investigation such as biostatistics, finance, optics, imaging, and machine learning. Serge Provost is the co-author of several books among which: Multivariate Statistical Analysis in the Real and Complex Domains (Open Access, 2022) [2], Quadratic Forms in Random Variables: Theory and Applications (1992) [3], and Bilinear Forms and Zonal Polynomials (1995) [4].
