Semri Tarhar is a small village of 203.7 hectares in Bara Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semri Tarhar depends on Shankargarh (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Semri Tarhar's pin code is 212106[4], and village code is 05497900. The area of Semri Tarhar is segregated as 73.05 hectares irrigated area, 76.324 hectares unirrigated area. the 4.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49.79 hectare area not available for cultivation.
