Semra is a small village of 1904 hectares in Etmadpur Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semra depends on Agra (CB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Semra's pin code is 283126[4], and village code is 01565100. The area of Semra is segregated as 2169 hectares irrigated area, 596 hectares unirrigated, remaining 101 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Semra has One post office (Semera B.O) and Two public telephones. Semra has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Agra (CB) and Agra to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
