Sankrod is a small village of 497 hectares in Khekada Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sankrod depends on Khekada (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sankrod's pin code is 250101[4], and village code is 01064500. The area of Sankrod is segregated as 228 hectares irrigated area, 386 hectares unirrigated area. the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 506 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sankrod is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 6648 and has total administration over 1015 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Khekada (NP) and Bagpat to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
