Sanawara Kalan is a small village of 1699 hectares in Gudha Malani Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanawara Kalan depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sanawara Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sanawara Kalan's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02196200. The area of Sanawara Kalan is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area, 557 hectares unirrigated, the 1066 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64 hectare area not available for cultivation.
