Samriya is a small village of 1711 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samriya depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 1.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Samriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Samriya's pin code is 327604[4], and village code is 03448800. The area of Samriya is segregated as 134 hectares irrigated area, 546 hectares unirrigated, the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 166 hectare area not available for cultivation.
