Sampangirama Family

The Sampangirama Family contains the decedents of Bhrigu|Sage Bhrigu.[1]. The Sampangirama family has many different last names such as Rao (Indian surname)|Rao, Sampangirama, Nagar Brahmin|Nagar, etc. The Sampangirama Family is based in the southern part of India, however some of the family lives in the United States[2]. The Sampangirama family is part of the Bhargava Gotra.

Origin

The Sampangirama Family originates from Dhosi Hill[3]. The dormant volcano is where many of the decedents of Sage Bhrigu originate from including the Sampangirama Family. The family now primarily lives in the Indian state of Karnataka[4]. Some members live abroad now in countries such as Germany, United States, England, and United Arab Emirates.

Members

There are numerous members of the Sampangirama Family. Members of this family are Chyavana, Apnavana[5], Aurva, Jamadagni, and Parashurama.
