Sambai Asam Udeung is a special Aceh dish made from boiled shrimp small and seasoned with sour and spicy flavored spices. One of Aceh's restaurants in Jakarta, udeung tamarind is popularly known as sambal marijuana. This causes absolutely not because these foods contain marijuana, supported because sambal is addictive to people who eat it.
Uudeung tamarind is not only a side dish to be eaten with warm rice, but it is also suitable for use as a side dish for Sie Reuboh (meat stew)—other typical Acehnese dishes. Choice of meat include goat or beef, which is boiled with vinegar, then dried and fried crispy. This dish can be likened to a kind of jerky, but with the meat that is still moist. [1]
