Samariya is a small village of 130 hectares in Tanda Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samariya depends on MAKDOOM NAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Samariya is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Samariya's pin code is 224190[4], and village code is 05998300. The area of Samariya is segregated as , 23.29 hectares unirrigated area. the 2.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 20.88 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Samariya is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1364 and has total administration over 214 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of MAKDOOM NAGAR and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
