Salpuri is a small village of 206 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Salpuri depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Salpuri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Salpuri's pin code is 301030[4], and village code is 00854500. The area of Salpuri is segregated as 129.66 hectares irrigated area, 58.5 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
