SHERARA is a small village of 4402 hectares in Bhadra Tehsil in Hanumangarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. SHERARA depends on Hisar (Haryana), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. SHERARA is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. SHERARA's pin code is 335503[4], and village code is 00491800. The area of SHERARA is segregated as 4226.88 hectares unirrigated, remaining 89.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Hisar (Haryana) and Hanumangarh to sell ghee and make their living.
