Resepkoki.id is an Indonesian food website that provides content on popular Indonesian dishes, home-cooking methods and local food trends. The website also provides a platform for community users to discuss and exchange ideas about cooking methods and recipes.[1] Launched in 2015 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, it is currently one of the most visited food recipe websites in Indonesia.[2][3] The site also researches on local F&B trends, covering articles on foreign dishes trending in Indonesia.[4] Most of the site contents are reviewed and produced by chefs and food hobbyists.[5]
History
Resepkoki.id was founded by brothers Dermawan Makmur, Setiawan Makmur and Gunawan Makmur. Being passionate about Indonesian cuisine themselves, they realized that there was no existing platform to search for and share popular Indonesian dishes at that time. Their initial motivation was to develop a platform to curate as many popular Indonesian dishes and provide a community for users to discuss and discover their own interests in traditional and contemporary Indonesian cooking methods.[6][7]
Resepkoki.id was initially developed as an app, before evolving into its current form as a website.[8]
