Rampur is a small village of 631 hectares in Kaiserganj Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rampur depends on Risia Bazar (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Rampur's pin code is 271872[4], and village code is 06492100. The area of Rampur is segregated as 429.45 hectares irrigated area, 101.96 hectares unirrigated area. the 8.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 58.87 hectare area not available for cultivation.
