Pethia is a small village of 51 hectares in Tanda Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pethia depends on Tanda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pethia's pin code is 224227[4], and village code is 06017500. The area of Pethia is segregated as , 2.53 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 9.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pethia has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Pethia is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 304 and has total administration over 37 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tanda (MB) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
